Ari and Stefanie Somers bought a three-bedroom, three-bath at 4324 N.E. 56th St. in Seattle’s University District from Jonathan and Elise Spencer for $605,000 on Jan. 9.

The Spencers paid $301,000 for the property in July 2000.

The 1,900-square-foot house was built in 1942.

Mr. Somers is a media technology customer service manager for social networking Web site MySpace, which is headquartered in Los Angeles, Calif.

Most recently, he worked as a help desk manager at Creative Artists Agency.

He graduated from California State University-Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in English literature.

There were 3,625 sales in Seattle in 2008, with a median sales price of $410,000.
