Judyth O. Weaver bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 13017 10th Ave. N.W. in Bitter Lake from Yukito Yonenaga for $560,000 on Oct. 26.
The 2,380-square-foot house was built in 1952.
Weaver is the creator and founding chair of the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute Ph.D. program in somatic psychology. She also teaches in the somatic masters program at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
She is certified in reichian therapy, somatic experiencing, massage, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, pre- and perinatal therapy, and is a teacher of t'ai chi ch'uan, Rosen method and sensory awareness. She is a former modern dancer. She also taught and led workshops at the Esalen Institute in California and Hollyhock Farm in Canada.
She is a Ph.D. holder in reichian psychology.
