Pokluda is a software design engineer at Microsoft in Seattle. He first joined Microsoft in Denmark in 2004.

He previously was senior information technology specialist for .NET technologies at Eurotel and line architect and senior developer at IXOS.

He received his master's degree (1996), doctoral degrees in mathematics (1999), and a Ph.D. in mathematical analysis (2001) from the Mathematical Institute of Silesian University in Opava in Czech Republic.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 288 home sales in Redmond during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $426,000.
