Microsoft Europe exec sells Sammamish 5BD

Medium 852b9b496ac38ae3fdc5797a91db7641 Sanjai Bijawat and Brinda Bijawat sold a five-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 426 209th Place S.E. in Sammamish to Zhifeng Wang and Bao Hao for $610,000 on Nov. 18.

Sanjai and Brinda bought the property for $659,880 in Aug. 2005. The 6,571-square-foot house in the Cameron Woods subdivision was built in 2005 in the Sammamish West neighborhood.

Mr. Bijawat is the business management director of Bing search research and development in Europe at the Microsoft Corp.

Prior to this, he was business development and strategy director of live search and Windows Core at Microsoft. He also formerly worked as chief operating officer, chief financial officer and business development senior vice presdient at NetRegulus Corp., business development VP atCobotics Inc., strategic business development VP at Freedrive Inc., VP and CFO at Impresse Corp., and managing director at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown.

He received a degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, his master's degree in mechanical engineering and applied physics from Stanford University, and his M.B.A. in general management from Harvard Business School.

Ms. Bijawat was the Web data analyst at OpinionLab, a Chicago-based company.

She previously worked as product planner at Microsoft, market research manager at Ultra Cosmetics and Fragrances, senior manager at American Express Co., senior business analyst at Pepsi-Cole International, information engineer in the U.S. marketing group of Xerox Corp., and programmer and system analyst at Ford Motor Co.

She attended the University of Chicago, the State University of New York Buffalo School of Management and the University of Michigan.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 397 home sales in Sammamish during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $530,000.
