Death Cab for Cutie drummer sells Lake Forest Park 4BD

Medium b41dc12377bdddc7e24cc09e7bd4fd61 Jason P. McGerr and Kerensa A. Wight sold a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 15848 32nd Ave. N.E. in Lake Forest Park to Damon Thompson and Bernadette McKeown for $440,000 on Dec. 1.

The 1,920-square-foot property sold for $226,000 in Aug. 2004. It was built in 1953 in State subdivision in the neighborhood of Lake Forest Park Southwest.

McGerr is the drummer for Death Cab for Cutie, a Grammy-nominated American indie rock band. He also is an instructor at the Seattle Drum School.

He previously played for Krusters Kronomid and Eureka Farm, as well as the Seattle jazz trio Rockin' Teenage Combo, and has been featured on the albums of Pretty Girls Make Graves, Tegan and Sara, The Con, and Chris Walla.

He owns a recording studio called Two Sticks Audio.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 61 home sales in Lake Forest Park in the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $420,000.
