The Chaffes acquired the property for $985,000 in July 2004. The 5,600-square-foot house was built in 1988 in Reinwood Leota.

Mr. Chaffe has been a principal consultant for strategy and customer insights at Microsoft.

He previously was a direct marketing manager at Eddie Bauer LLC, a men's and women's apparel retailer. He also became part of Direct Marketing Association-Seattle Chapter, Vitessa Corp., URS Corp., and IT Corp.

He attended the University of Washington, Penn State University and Washington and Lee University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 117 home sales in Duvall during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $645,000.
