Scott J. Fierstein and Dr. Cynthia T. Kertesz Fierstein bought a four-bedroom, three-bath at 1016 E. Hamlin St. in Capitol Hill from Dr. Stephen Reibman and Denise Reibman for $1.01 million on March 9.

The 3,400-square-foot home in Denny Fuhrman was built in 1940.

Mr. Fierstein is senior director of interoperability and standards at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond. Prior to joining Microsoft, he was director of product development for Harman Kardon.

Dr. Kertesz-Fierstein is a pediatrician at Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle and at The Pediatric Care Center of the Universty of Washington.

In addition to her practice, she also serves as a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington.

She earned her M.D. from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago and completed her residency in pediatrics at University of Washington in Seattle.

Dr. Reibman has practiced radiology at Valley Radiologists, Inc. in Renton. He has also been affiliated with Auburn Regional Medical Center.

He received his M.D. from the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency.

Ms. Reibman has served as an information technology analyst at Valley Medical Center.

The Fiersteins previously bought the home at 2312 33rd Ave. S. in Mount Baker for $725,000 in Nov. 2005.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 307 home sales in Capitol Hill during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $395,000.
