Microsoft architect buys Issaquah 4BD

Haik Babaian and Jacqueline M. Lavallee bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 13726 231st Place S.E. in Issaquah from Gary F. Moore and Linda J. Moore for $520,000 on Jan. 29.

The 2,930-square-foot, two-story house was built in 1987.

Babaian is a user experience architect at Microsoft Corp. He is responsible for the research, design and product development of enterprise class web applications.

Prior to his role as architect, he was lead developer of Microsoft for Volt, Accenture and Siemens. He was also project manager and developer for Sinclair Control Corp., for almost three years, Web developer and project manager for Make-a-Store.com, and information technology manager for HUS Computers.

He received his B.S. in computing and software systems from the University of California in 1986.

There were 53 home sales in Unincorporated Issaquah in 2008, with a median sales price of $550,000.
