Simon Sproule and Youngae Kim sold a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 348 8th Ave. in Kirkland to Dr. Cynthia K. Anonsen and Rudolf Kischel for $1.15 million on Nov. 2.

Sproule paid $1.199 million for the property in May 1. The 3,540-square-foot house was built in 2008 in the Norkirk neighborhood.

Sproule is the corporate vice president of corporate communications at Microsoft.

He previously was the corporate vice president of global communications at Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. He also worked with Ford Motor Co., Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover North America.

He received a B.S. in geography from the University of London-King's College.

Dr. Anonsen has been an otolaryngologist for 26 years and has been with Bellevue Ear Nose & Throat Inc. She also has been affiliated with Overlake Hospital Medical Center.

She received her M.D. from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Medical School in 1979.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 463 home sales in Kirkland during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $409,500.
